I beleive without a doubt that a couple things I bought were real antiques but now really looking at a "100" year old pitch fork I'm not convinced. It's not real rust, the pattern of fake rust goes from the metal to the wood and looks the same. One of the workers jokingly pretended to cry when I bought it and said she saw it there for 2 years. It looks homemade now that I look at it. Real ones are cheaper. They charged me $65

The friends we are traveling with dropped off an 1880s music box for repair. This is the most amazing shop! They focus on mechanical antiques. I loved this store.

This is the most amazing antique shop I've ever seen. They have some really neat items, mostly clocks and music boxes. A lot of this stuff could be in a museum. Honestly this store is better than some museums I've seen! Take a look inside but don't bring the little kids! Everything is very expensive for good reason!

This is a wonderful antique store full of whimsical clocks and furniture. I have never witnessed such an assortment of antique clocks from so many different periods. There was a giant marble one that had a sold sign on it for 75k! But they also have pocket watches jewelry, display cabinets and early wind-up music boxes. Very cool place that you should visit while you're in Solvang!

My partner and I love antique/vintage. Quality things from an age where construction and attention to detail were important. We were on a road trip in Solvang on a weekday and stopped in to this store which is a lighthouse in a storm when it comes to a break from the more kitschy tourist stores in little Solvang (not that those stores don't have their place here). We had to make 2 passes to even see most of what was in here - and there is NO junk in this store. Very high quality, gorgeous pieces were seen. I'm very glad we made our 2nd pass because halfway down the aisle on our circle I was looking up at all the lovely things on the wall and I think both he and I said "whoa" outloud (I know I did) to a painting high up. It was a painting of a ship in darker hours. It's something I've always kept my eye out for as I like paintings of ships, but have always been more drawn to those of ships in the night or dusk - not in midday sunlight. It's among the few things I'd add to my collection if I found the right one. I was very drawn to it. Very friendly, assuming the proprietor of the shop talked to us about the painting and told us some of what he knew about it. I never go into a larger purchase of an "impractical" thing (meaning something I can't use), so we left with a card in hand for me to ponder it. We returned the next day after the painting would not leave my mind. Again, the proprietor was there and offered to take it down for a closer look. It was in beautiful shape, and more details came into view, so I purchased the painting. They wrapped it up nicely for the long car drive home. I have been very much enjoying it on my wall. All that to say, this is a lovely store, with lovely people, and when we come back to Solvang, it will be on our "to-do" list.

Amazing antique shop full of cool clocks and other mechanical machines! The employees are very friendly and willing to play the machines and their music for us. Cool grandfather clocks, sculptures, statues, and vibes in the store! Will need to come back when I’m rich to buy something in the store!

We visited this antique store while casually walking down the street. We were amazed by their collection of antiques. The employees are so friendly and demonstrated all their mechanical musical marvels and answered our kids’ curious questions patiently. It is such a heartwarming experience. This is a must visit place for everyone and also we will definitely come back on our next visit to Solvang. Thank you!!

Step into the past in this well-curated antique shop! The lovely ladies staffing the shop are so courteous and welcoming with everyone. They graciously answered my little one's questions about music boxes and phonographs, even opening one up so we could all see the mechanism properly.
