Olde Security Square Flea Market

Olde Security Square Flea Market opened as a Flea Market in April 1985. Formerly we were M-B Fabrication Inc.,
an oilfield fabrication and machine shop that fabricated oilfield structural steel. Then in 1983 & 1984 the
oil business came to a screeching halt. We closed the business and just held the property.

Then in late 1984, my mother Maurine Talley, said why don’t you turn it into a Flea Market? Well, we thought for
awhile and went and looked at 3 flea markets in Houston and Beaumont. It took us about four to five months
to convert from a machine and fab shop to an indoor & outdoor flea market.

We knew nothing and have learned
a lot by flea market trial and error.  The Olde Security Square Flea Market now has 80 inside booths, 30,000 sq feet and
400 outside table, all outdoor flea market tables are under cover and on concrete.   Our Flea Market has about 6 acres of customer parking, handicap & motorcycle parking area.

We have worked hard and have established ourselves as a popular family oriented flea market,
where anyone can come and feel safe and have fun.

We have 2 Montgomery County Police Officers on duty; we allow no alcohol or guns on premises.
We welcome anyone who wants to spend the day looking at almost anything you can imagine or not imagine.
