Very friendly place to pop-in and look for hard to find antiques, jewelry, and some clothing items. Inventory is high-end quality but pricing is very affordable. Just some good deals. Coffee shop next door is fun too.

I love Dovecote! It is such a fun store and is very reasonably priced! It is my go to store for gifts for any occasion from babies to retirement parties. Jessica Vukmir, the owner, has also been such a huge help! I DO NOT like to shop and she always makes it a fun and personable experience. I also love the clothes she carries and if you are nice she will even do some personal shopping for you. This is pretty much my go to store! The other Staff members Kathy and Jenny are great too. It is a very welcoming and friendly store.

Absolutely in love with this boutique located in the heart of Aspinwall. Went in hoping to find gifts for the mother?s in my life and came out with gifts for myself, my young daughters and the mother?s on my list. The selection is unique and it has a super cozy feel. The staff working there are incredibly friendly and I left with my items wrapped up in tissue and placed in a cute bag with holiday ribbon! I will definitely be visiting Dovecote again during this holiday shopping season!

Love Love Love this shop!! In a world of chain stores it was a very personal shopping experience with awesome service! Great style and unique gifts. There is something for everyone here.

I would rate this boutique 10 stars if I could. The owner and staff are amazing people who truly care that you have a fun shopping experience. They really do have something for everyone. I was able to find a beautiful vintage apron and a retro-look owl mask for my daughter's dress-up, as well as some fun items for a Father's Day gift for my husband. For myself, I found several pairs of beautiful earrings, a lovely scarf perfect for spring, and Naked Bee lotion that smells amazing and feels even better on your skin. I will definitely visit again the next time I'm in town!!

Stopped by this little gem while I was in Pittsburgh. Lovely assortment of items, including jewelry, pillows, furniture, clothing, and other odds and ends. The owner is very friendly and helpful, as are the staff.

Maybe I encountered the place in a off day. The woman on counter was... Rather condescending and a bit insulting. It was the unenjoyable purchase experience I associate with boutiques. Including the snooty behavior towards consignment inquiries and more concern with packaging than anything else. A simple no would have been fine, you didn't have to be so rude about it all while I paid for my purchase. And you certainly didn't have to continue the situation long after I tried to get you to just drop it. Would have avoided the place all together if it didn't come up in a search for "consignment stores". I a boutique I wasn't looking for that snooty rude boutique experience . I was just looking to enjoy consignment shopping and ask the possibility of dropping some things off. Because that's how a consignment store works. Really ruined my small amount of time I had to shop during the never ending pandemic pandemic. Probably why I'm especially sore over the experience.
