I sent my husband to this antique store today 5/22/24. There were two ladies working in the store, one was the owner. My husband had the ladies look through a box of jewelry with hopes of seeing if they could give him advice on what we have and possibly have. First let me say all of this jewelry was his deceased mom and grandmothers jewelry. Everything was in a small plastic container with everything separated what was real and what was costume jewelry. I personally went through this jewelry before he left for the day. He was going to jewelry and antique stores to get different opinions on what he might have to include advice. I separated real jewelry with diamond bands and tennis bracelet and a couple of other questionable validity of a few other rings. My husband allowed them to look thru box give advice and both ladies wanted to purchase some of the costume jewelry for $20. Unknowingly the one employee took out a couple of diamond rings and other sentimental rings that belonged to his mom and grandmother. My husband called me happy about ladies buying a few pieces of costume jewelry. I asked about box of diamond rings he was going to take to other diamond stores to see quality of diamonds. He wasn\'t sure which box I was referring to so he pulled over to check plastic box that had costume jewelry separated from real jewelry. Well it turns out both ladies pulled one over on my husband. Not only did they take wedding bands they also took diamond tennis bracelet without him knowing. Once he realized what had happened he went back to store. Once he arrived he spoke to employee behind counter with owner half way listening. My husband explained what happened and they may possibly have jewelry not meant for them. The employee behind the counter picked up diamond tennis bracelet and asked owner is this his bracelet we purchased? Owner replied yes! Lady behind counter gave owner a look and owner them said, no it\'s not. My husband was very kind to the ladies and let the know the situation mainly with diamond bracelet. In stead of saying well I understand, Let\'s look through jewelry we purchased again....Owner refused to give my husband bracelet back. My husband was willing to let his family rings go if they would allow him to purchase tennis bracelet back for $20 . The owner then says no, she\'s not sure she will take $20 for the bracelet. This owner did not offer all jewelry back in exchange for the $20, not even the tennis bracelet. Owner eventually allowed my husband to purchase tennis bracelet for $20 but hesitated. Both ladies knew what they had done and thought my husband would not notice. My husband, being a reasonable person said it was his fault for not watching them closer. I am really disgusted that there are people like this. Yes, my husband made a mistake, yes the ladies took advantage of him. Lesson learned for us! If you go into this store, you may be purchasing my husbands deceased mother and grandmothers rings!

I do miss the old location, but it appears they are still moving things in. The prices are still decent for an antique store and it's always fun to browse!

A lot of antiques, most are pricey, with NO leway. I found something worth $100 max. A 1975 Great Norther Railway Adalake amber globe lamp with rust and dents. Owner had it listed as a 1925 when actually it is a 1975 or later. Had it listed for $150, would only go to $125 cash. I passed.

I could spend a lot of money here but everything is overpriced! I've watched the same items sit for years untouched. Sad
